Heikki Tuomela
Heikki Tuomela advises our clients on real estate and employment law matters, corporate transactions, and dispute resolution.
Heikki has 25 years of experience in real estate–related matters. He advises, among others, property owners, housing companies, property managers, real estate agents, and property maintenance companies on legal issues related to their operations. Heikki represents clients in disputes concerning the liability of property managers and real estate agents, housing companies, real estate transactions and leasing, as well as construction-related matters.
Heikki has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions and other corporate transactions, acting as an advisor to both buyers and sellers, particularly in transactions involving small and medium-sized enterprises. He supports clients throughout the entire M&A process, from structuring the transaction and conducting due diligence to contract negotiations and completion of the transaction. He also advises clients on post-transaction liability and dispute situations.
Heikki assists companies, members of corporate management, and employees in employment law–related matters and disputes. He has strong hands-on experience in advising clients on various personnel arrangements, such as corporate reorganizations, statutory co-operation procedures, and arrangements related to incentive schemes, executive agreements, and key personnel.
Prior to joining our firm, Heikki worked as a partner at Asianajotoimisto Sotamaa & Co Oy, as Head of the Employment Law Team at Eversheds Asianajotoimisto Oy, and as Head of HR and Legal at a Nordic real estate company.
